New York Law School Home

The General Members

We presently have in excess of 80 members and expect that number to increase as we actively solicit students during the academic year.

  •  Agenda
    • We are working on behalf of the evening students to ensure that the NYLS Bookstore and Administrative Offices remain open late at least one night per week.

    • Offering various resources for evening students via the ESA Web site, e.g., outlines and other academic resources.

    • Sponsoring events specifically for evening students, e.g., a guest speaker series and exam workshops for 1L evening students.

    • Working with the faculty and administration to make sure that the needs of all evening students are met, e.g., making sure that all evening students are able to enroll in the classes of their choice prior to graduation; streamlining the registration process for evening students; and, generally trying to make life better for evening students at New York Law School.

    • We are also currently in the process of developing a plan for the creation of national and international organizations of evening students.

We welcome all suggestions, complaints, and criticisms.  If there is an item you would like us to add to your agenda, please e-mail us at esa@nyls.edu.  The ESA was created by the students and it is on behalf of students that we strive to achieve our collective goals.
