On October 24, 2003, the Honorable Tony Coelho gave a public policy address for National Disability Employment Awareness Month entitled:

Our Right to Work,
Our Demand to be Heard: 
People with Disabilities, the 2004 Election, and Beyond

In his address, Mr. Coelho challenged the 2004 candidates and the disability community on a work agenda for the disabled.

The Honorable Tony Coelho is the Former Majority Whip in the U.S. House of Representatives; the author and principal sponsor of the Americans with Disabilities Act; and one of the nation’s leading advocates for people with disabilities.
