Provides an overview to specific skills needed to represent persons with mental disabilities in a range of institutional and community-based cases.  Covers civil commitment standards, outpatient  commitment, issues of proof , dealing with expert witnesses, rights to community services, patient advocacy issues and dealing with stigma/public awareness.
