It is the policy of New York Law School, in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, and state and local requirements, to seek to accommodate individuals with disabilities. The School endeavors to enable students with disabilities to participate in its academic program and to satisfy its requirements. At the same time, the School does not make accommodations that fundamentally alter its academic program or requirements. All decisions regarding accommodations are made on a case-by-case basis and are based on the individual student's documented disability. Documentation relating to a request for accommodation will be reviewed by a consultant hired by New York Law School for the purpose of advising the School in its determination of appropriate accommodations. Any student who needs services relating to a disability or impairment should speak with the Director of Student Life.
